You are invited to climb iconic Mt Gower and follow in the footsteps of a fifth generation Islander, Jack Shick, as indeed Jack, a veteran guide of over 1000 walks follows in the footsteps of his grandfather and father, both mountain guides before him.
Hear stories handed down through the family and learn about the unique flora and fauna found on the walk.
Jack will demonstrate the kentia seeds being collected in the traditional way and you will see all four species of palms found on the Island. Noctiluca Fishing Charters
Sightseeing & Bird Watching
Join Jack on Noctiluca, our 8 metre purpose-built vessel in NSW (2C & 3C survey 9 passengers) for a great day of deep sea fishing, sightseeing or bird watching.
We provide all the top name tackle and bait. We target the large pelagic such as king fish, trevally, wahoo and tuna. The best time of the year to fish is between November and May (all trips are weather dependent).
Noctiluca is excellent for families, small groups or the experienced fisho. She is equipped with toilet, 2 bunks and lots of deck space to move around.
