Meet the Woodhen - one of Lord Howe’s sassiest birds 😎

Lord Howe Island’s native Woodhen is thriving, with a recent survey recording at least 1,638 birds across the Island. Once on the brink of extinction, these cheeky and curious birds have made a remarkable comeback. Today, you’re likely to encounter them almost everywhere on the Island 🐦🏝️
